I think it's a strong one and, according to the polls, she's really energizing voters right now (assuming the 'new candidate honeymoon' period holds strong through October). But it perplexes me.
To listen to a Harris ad, you'd think she was running to unseat Donald Trump from the White House instead of... ya know, assume a higher position within an administration she already helps orchestrate?
Nor is her message anti-Biden like "I'm a young(er) Black woman and it's time we replaced this old white dude." Her policy positions thus far haven't really run contrary to Biden's.
So... what's her message? Is VP Kamala Harris supposed to be a fresh face supplanting Republicans, or a continuation of the Biden Administration, proud of its legacy and policy accomplishments which she shaped and championed?
