ABC says Kelly and Shapiro are the leading vice presidential picks. Either would be strong picks. Shapiro would probably the safest pick as Kelly's seat would be up for special election in 2026 if he ran.
Historically vice presidential picks give a ~2 point boost to the ticket in the home state. So either would have big effects on the electoral college chances.
