and all of us that came to the cookout - which was only 5 of us that braved the borderline 100 degree sunshine - wore a hat. Ironically enough, all but one, were about fishing! Ha! So in honor of one of my favorite tags out there,

The funny thing is, we didn't even go fishing! The last time we had come to that particular spot, you could mosey on just about anywhere and drop a line. That was a good decade ago. Now they have sectioned off the campground and docks and even made the swimming area a separate space. Seeing as to how it was so freeginay hot though, we went swimming and had fun anyway. Our bellies were full of steak, cheddar brats and shrimp that we had grilled. Was a good little get together. Hope everyone else was safe this past weekend!
