The Rediculous Claims Hauwei Uses to Chastise Canadians into Betraying Their Own Economy

in hauwei •  5 years ago

If you wouldnt let a Laptop salesman convince you to buy a higher end model than you need, why would you upgrade your wireless signal?

Pro Tip : Its not your internet speed. It's your CPU, Ram and system slowing down the speed you browse online.

Latency

Hauwei Claims

3-5 Milliseconds is required for smart devices to operate efficiently.

What smart devices?

  • feel free to comment below because that device isnt used in North America and I will be happy to debate the insignificant quality of living that technology offers Canadians, with the extreme privacy issues.

Google Maps Works with 70ms of Latency

I frequently use a VPN service and have typically experienced 45-90 milliseconds of latency, when I do not use the VPN I experience 13-40ms of latency. Regardless of the networking situation, I have never missed a live traffic update or been unable to search instantaneously for a destination. The only speed limiter is CPU in my Note8. Seeing as I have a high end smartphone, not many people will be using a CPU this fast to begin with.

Mining Cryptocurrency possible with 200ms of Latency

Most GPU or ASIC mining software will show you a latency, and the average mining pool will not recieve any stale shares until about the 200 millisecond time frame.

Bandwidth

Hauwei Claims

Gigabit connection speeds will load 4k & 8K videos faster.

Netflix

Loads 4K videos with a buffer at 15 mb/s. That is less than the cheapest internet connection at any Canadian ISP.

4K Live Streaming

So you like to share your games live on your social media with your friends and followers, to do this in 4K @ 60 Frames Per Second you need a maximum bandwidth of 200 mb/s.

To calculate the amount of bandwidth you need in order to love stream, simply multiple the Video bitrate x4. With this common Telus Cellphone Tower service on 4G LTE+ I would be able to achieve a Live Stream Quality of 1080p @ 60 FPS assuming a bitrate of less than 8 mb/s could be utilized by the Streaming Service I choose to use.

Not Many 60hz+ monitors Used by Majority of TV Owners

Do you even know how to watch 4k?

It says 4k on your TV, but are you actually seeing the full dynamic range and refresh rate which define the quality of the pixels?

If you dont know what these settings are or use them everytime your monitor is on, are you even qualified to participate in a debate about 5g technologies?

Do you think 10-30 Milliseconds of latency will effect your connection speed on a device that takes longer to refresh the screen than it does load the page you're waiting to see?

What benefit would 5g have in a country with CPU limited devices and less than 60hz refresh rates on the majority of monitors?
