Hawa Mahal means that a place of winds. That is, it is a unique place, which is completely cold. Hawa Mahal was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. This five-storey building has been built in a very unique way.

Tell that the Hawa Mahal is made in the shape of the crown of the head. Looks like the crown of Lord Krishna's crown. It is said that Sawai Pratap Singh had a very reverential devotion towards Lord Krishna, due to which he brought this palace to his crown.

It is only one and a half feet wide from the top and looks like a bee hive in the outside. There are 953 small windows in this air temperature, which keeps cold and fresh air. Due to which this place remains cold.

The five-story air palace made of pink and red stones still stands at 87 degrees angle. This palace is also known as 'Palace of Winds' because it has cold winds with its enclosure windows. The royal people of Jaipur like to stay in this royal palace during the summers. Tell that the name of the Hawa Mahal comes from the fifth floor here, which is called the Vay Mandir.

The credit for designing the air castle goes to Lal Chand Ustad, who designed the castle keeping the choice of the particular royal women in mind. It is the only palace built in Mughal and Rajputana architectural styles. The Hawa Mahal was specially designed separately for women of Rajput family, whose windows could see the everyday life of the city without any hesitation or hesitation.

The first repair of the Hawa Mahal took place in 50 years after it was created in 2006. The value of this palace is currently around 4568 million rupees. Earlier, the corporate sector of Jaipur took responsibility for its security but later the Unit Trust of India took over the responsibility. You would be surprised to know when the air castle became popular only after its complex was developed.
