Stephen Hawking passes away after incredibly rare 40 year battle with ALS.

Living for 40 years trapped in your own body must beg for some kind of release. Still, Dr. Hawking accomplished an awful lot in that time while typing through a tube. If only ALS research would serve other suffers so well. I guess people aren't throwing enough ice water on each other.
