I think most important is to listen to the signals of your system. What the system wants might be quite different from what is commonly propagated so you seem to be in line with this approach.
Actually there are people who sustain themselves only from prana, subtle energy and they are doing well! Even Nicholas Tesla said he thinks it is possible. You can google “breatharian“.
Whether you sustain yourself fully from this cosmic source or not, being able to receive the beneficial nourishment of the universe is definitely great!
