Being a doctor has a high responsibility for patient's addressability. The many medical devices and handling that might have been a mistake, became a sufficient thing to distract people not to go into the operating room. Although, sometimes it should be done.
Did you know, new facts revealed that during the operation took place, most doctors perform medical acts accompanied by listening to music. What's more surprising is the Rock music genre being the choice of many doctors. Surprisingly not, doctors listen to Rock music when the operation is being done.
Seen from research results Spotify and Figure 1, rock music is the most popular music genre for surgeons in the operating room. Music that usually has a toned tone is favored by 49% of surgeons. Other music genres favored by doctors in the operating room are pop music (48%), classics (43%), more relaxed jazz (24%), and R & B (21%). Quoted from Fortune, Spotify says that 89% of doctors put up their own playlists on the album. Top tracks include "Cocaine" Eric Clapton, "Beautiful Day" by U2, "Piece of My Heart" by Janis Joplin, and "Rock You Like a Hurricane" Scorpions. Spotify has even created special playlists for hospital music!
"I listened to bands from my youth and nostalgic feelings brought me to a quiet and focused place," said New York City transplant surgeon Dr. Alan I. Benvenisty.
This study was conducted to determine which genre of music is most preferred. Against 700 medical professionals, it was revealed that each operating room also had their own musical genres. Call it anesthesia surgery room that turns out doctors prefer pop-rock (59% to 44%) when handling patients.
Do not be surprised, when you enter the operating room your doctor instead listens to Rock music to make them relax.
