Sombra Warming Therapy for Aches and Pains - Thumbs Up Thursday by A Panama Mama

in health •  7 years ago

When it comes to aches and pains, we all get them. When we get them, we reach for our Sombra Warm Therapy bottle. This is a really great product and it's natural! It provides a nice warming feeling to the aching muscle followed by an icy cold feeling. It really helps loosen up the tightness. If I ever get a crick in my neck, I can rub this on my neck and shoulder blade at bedtime and the pain will be much better or gone in the morning!

The bottle says you can use this to help relieve muscle aches associated with arthritis, backaches, strains, bruises and sprains. It can be used on anyone age two and older. I would be hesitant to use it on a small child because of the cooling sensation it gives off which is intense to some. I, however, love the way it makes my sore muscles feel!

This product, and others similar to it, is available at Sombra's website. I also found it at amazon. I highly recommend it for natural warming therapy of sore or tired muscles!

What do you use on sore muscles?

I looked up the ingredient on wikipedia and it's pretty cool

it selectively stimulates nerve endings sensitive to cold, producing a warm sensation when vigorously applied, or a cool sensation when applied gently. This effect also induces a slight local anesthesia, and has an antimicrobial secondary effect.

My sister complains a lot about pain so I may order this one to see how good it is.

Well that's pretty cool. Thanks for looking into it and posting it here. I haven't ever looked up the ingredients. I just like how it works. ;)

Sounds a good product I may have to check it out

It is pretty good and it smells nice too - minty. I forgot to mention that. ;)

MInty even better butcoud be dangerous I may try eating it LOL

It is not fun if you get it near your eyes. I can imagine it would give your mouth a nice little burning sensation. ;) It's very menthol smelling. It would probably work great if you had a cold. Need to try that sometime...although I haven't had a cold (that I remember) since I moved to Panama... Hm...

As I am battling a cold for a bit now I will wish I was there and away from colds LOL
