Why would you ever want to take an ice cold shower?

Seems like there is benefits of doing both.

God..I don't know.

The reason I did it was because I was feeling so insanely tired everyday. So tired it would make me feel very anxious. I was trying to find answers in everything. Maybe it was my diet, maybe I needed more exercise, or less, maybe I masturbated too much or too less (no way), maybe it was the screaming kids at work, maybe I don't sleep well etc..

I couldn't find a reason why I was so tired, compared to 1/4 of Americans who just need to do a little bit of exercise and stop eating like you want to die quick. I am sorry.

So I just tried something.

Cold showers.

I start my shower in the morning with hot water and then gradually make it more cold, until it is as cold as it can get....

Holy shit, it's cold. But holy shit I feel good.

Right after the shower I am alert, feel fresh, my energy levels is like Ron Burgundy on coke. It is amazing. Usually I stay in the cold water for 1-3 minutes. These positive effects usually last through out the day. Not all day, but it helps a lot.

I will try to list the benefits I have felt within the first week or so:
  • Better concentration
  • Better sleep
  • More energy
  • Less stressed
  • Happier

If you have a shitty day, jump into a cold shower and stay there for some minutes. Make it really cold. I will guarantee you will feel better!

I will try to progressive low the temperature of water like you did.

I do not know which of the options is best for health, both of them have quite interesting benefits. But for the environment cold showers are much better and that is why I want to adapt for them. Cold waters not only save energy but also water as they make you to spend less time in the shower.

I think a cold one in the morning and a warm one at night would be amazing. I only do the cold one though :)

I take only once per day, usually in the afternoon, but most of the times I stay a bit too much wasting both water and gas.

Ive been taking cold showers for 2 months now. I usually stay in the water for about 7 minutes at a time. The energy is amazing that you get. I was surprised how good I felt when I first started doing it.
