Inflamation of the liver caused by hepatocellular viruses.

Type of hepatitis :

A) According to duration :

  1. Acute hepatitis(<6 months)

  2. Chronic hepatitis( 6 months or longer)

B) According to cause:

  1. Hepatitis A Virus .

2.Hepatitis B Virus .

3.Hepatitis C Virus .

4.Hepatitis D Virus .

5.Hepatitis E Virus .
