Good luck! Doesn't matter to take a break :) All that matters is you get back to making it a habit and it will become easy again. I can highly recommend strength training with weights - after I had my daughter this is what I did and I cannot tell you all of the physical and mental benefits to building muscle and strength… I feel so much more capable in functional fitness, more confident, love my more toned appearance & has helped so much with pelvic floor and bladder prolapse issues that I was having after a traumatic birth. Highly recommend even just booking an induction at a gym and asking the instructor to show you the basics of free weights. Helps increase your metabolism as well as the more muscle mass you have, the more calories you burn just by being alive ! So empowering as well ! :)

Thank you so so much! I really appreciate hearing your story! And I am so sorry to hear you had a traumatic birth! Hopefully the next one, if you have another one that is, is a beautiful wonderful healing empowering experience. That's one of my passions btw. Natural birth education and assisting women to achieving the birth they want! As for weight training I feel very lucky that my partner used to be a personal trainer so I am pretty set. Just gotta build up to that. 😊
