Just a few spoonfuls of rice and these sweet pieces of meat is a hearty meal enough for me and is my Lunchpper for today because I had combined my Lunch and Supper because my viewing ended at around 5:30 PM and I cannot eat because we have to finish the viewing first as I do not want to leave and go to my room to eat because of my painful walking disability.

I am still thankful that I could still walk although with a great difficulty now. I am not surprised because of the nature of my condition, it is progressive and uncertain despite my effort to manage the cause which is my hyperparathyroidism. The medicine for it is very expensive, few people could ever afford it and once tried they would give up because of its nauseating side-effects.

My thanksgiving viewing gives me some spiritual revival because in the program we get to pray, sing some hymns, witness the brethren offer their thanksgiving songs as part of their offering (part is financial offering). Then I get to listen to my Minister which discusses and explains the weekly thanksgiving topic.

Then there is also a consultation part where visitors and the members alike can have the chance to ask the presiding minister about their problems with the guidance of the scriptures. It just makes me spiritually stronger, maybe the reason that I can endure the problems in my life.
