Losing weight is not the same thing as burning fat, you need to know the difference between losing weight and burning fat to avoid falling into traps that can disrupt the weight loss process.


Understanding the difference between weight loss and fat burning


 The human body is made up of several components, weight is the sum total of these components which include things like water, fat, bones and muscles when we speak of body weight loss we are talking about the decrease of any of the body components that can be fat or do not.


When we talk about weight loss, we are talking only about fat loss or the burning of fatty tissue.

Burning fat happens when our body uses its fat reserves to get energy, this fat burning may or may not, result in weight loss.

You should then understand that losing weight is not the same as losing fat. Similarly, doing physical exercise to burn fat does not mean that you will lose weight because your muscle mass will increase and as such your weight.


What to do to increase calorie burning and lose weight?


To increase fat burning and to lose weight you need to do the right thing, and this does not include the famous fad diets or random exercises. You should maintain a healthy diet and practice physical exercises appropriate to your goals, these are the basic steps to burn more calories and lose weight healthfully and sustainably. It also takes calm and patience because losing fat does not happen overnight, it takes its time.


 Making a very restrictive diet can even cause a great loss of weight in a short time but, you have to keep in mind that this type of diet can result in an illusory weight loss because in most cases there is no fat loss but, the loss of water and muscles. The illusory weight loss does not hold for a long time because the body always finds a way to gain back to gain what it lost by doing so, it returns to gain the weight it lost

So true, it is imperative to use proper methods to get healthy and obtain the ideal weight. It is a delicate balance of eating healthy and maintaining muscle mass while burning fat through anaerobic resistance-type and aerobic exercise.
