With new discoveries in medicine new diseases and ways of their treatment are also discovered. Kidneys, ureters, bladder are very important and therefore urinary system diseases must be treated with seriousness. Of course, there are many different illnesses but most frequent and common ones we will describe in the following urinary system diseases list:
Hydronephrosis:
If the stone from the kidney did not come out and the outflow of urine did not recover, then a serious complication may develop-hydronephrosis, a disease characterized by a progressive expansion of the kidney cavities with subsequent death of the kidney tissue. It is: congenital, with a tumor, inflammatory scars of the pelvis or ureter; with damage to the neuromuscular apparatus. With timely treatment the body is restored. Usually, hydronephrosis proceeds with attacks of renal colic or blunt pain in the kidney area, blood appears in the urine and when infection is pus. Urinary system diseases treatment is carried out by an urologist or in surgical way.
Infection in kidneys:
It is manifested in form of increased pain, sensitivity when touching in that area, high fever, chills, nausea and vomiting, frequent urination. If you have these symptoms you should immediately contact your doctor.
Renal colic:
Severe back pain is observed when the stone leaves the kidney and clogs the urine out of it. There is a so-called renal colic, a symptom of sharp cramping pain in the lumbar or iliac region caused by convulsive contractions of the smooth muscle of the renal pelvis, its calyces or ureter with a sudden obstruction to urine outflow. At the moment of colic the patient does not find a place, all the time changing the position of the body, urination rapid, painful, often there is nausea, vomiting.
Kidney stone disease:
It is one of the most dangerous among urinary system diseases which is characterized by the presence in the renal pelvis or calyx stones formed from substances that make up the urine. Violation of the physico-chemical composition of urine leads to the precipitation of crystals and salts which in combination with an organic base (for example, a blood clot, bacteria) form stones. The disease is manifested by pain in the lower back of a blunt character or in the form of renal colic which occurs due to a blockage of the stone of the renal pelvis or ureter. At the end of the attack or soon after it blood may appear in the urine. If urinary tract infection becomes complicated urine is turbid, purulent. Between attacks of colic, dull pains in the area of the corresponding kidney are possible, usually worse with movement and calming down at rest. Approximately 15% of patients with nephrolithiasis are asymptomatic. Diagnosis is assisted by ultrasound, x-ray and urinalysis.
Floating kidney:
Pain in the lumbar region, increasing in the standing position, sometimes paroxysmal when blood often appears in the urine is also characteristic of another disease - kidney depression.
Cystitis:
Painful urination indicates the infection when bacteria pave their way up. It can affect the urethra - a disease called urethritis or provoke inflammation of the bladder. If the infection spreads further - on the ureters and kidneys then there is a disease called acute pyelonephritis. The closer the infection is to the kidneys, the more dangerous it becomes. Fortunately, most infections are limited to the urethra and bladder. Cystitis is acute or chronic. Women are more likely to have this urinary system diseases symptoms associated with hypothermia, infection of the genitals (for example, from the anus, when a woman after washing is wiped from front to back, during sexual intercourse, etc.). The urethra of women is much shorter than that of men, so it is easier for bacteria to enter the bladder; In this regard, urinary tract diseases occur in women many times more often than men. Symptoms: pains in the lower abdomen, giving to the sacrum, frequent painful urination, more urgent need for urination. Often at the end of urination blood is allocated, itching, burning, nausea, vomiting, chills, general malaise. Body temperature may not rise. The doctor most likely will prescribe antibacterial treatment (mostly people prefer Generic Neggram), pain medication and spasm-removing drugs and an appropriate examination. As a local treatment is often used washing the bladder with disinfectant solutions, the introduction of anti-inflammatory drugs. Depending on the cause of the disease, it sometimes becomes necessary to treat a sexual partner.
