It is a condition associated with changes in the male hormone levels.
Andropause involves a drop in testosterone production in men.
Testosterone is a hormone produced in the testes.
It increases sex drive, mental and physical energy, maintains muscle mass.
It is also the hormone reponsible for changes during puberty in boys and for regulating other key evolutionary features in the male body.
Menopause Vs Adropause
Andropause unlike menopause is not experienced by all men.
Also, it doesn’t involve a complete shutdown of the reproductive organs. However, sexual complications may arise as a result of the lowered hormone levels.
