Are Dissociative Drugs the Future of Antidepressants?

in health •  7 years ago

I've tried low doses of Ketamine myself and I can say it definitely works for relieving depression symptoms for a while after taking it.What's wierd about it is the the antidepressant "feeling" I got after the high was over was the exact same feeling I get when a LSD, DMT or a Mushroom trip ends.I can only describe it as total inner peace and unity. What Buddhists call "Zen".I believe that many psychedelics have that same antidepressant property and that it's all about that feeling of acceptance they give you after their psychedelic effects wear off.
