Writing always helps me process my emotions and I actually have two other abandoned drafts of this update, because halfway through each, I realized that I wasn't being honest with myself, instead I was either writing about all the funny stuff that happened during the commute or I omitted the grim stuff to keep it light-hearted and avoiding my feelings. So, with this last one, I felt like I was in some crazy therapy, dealing with my emotions.
