Premature-ageing is an unnatural ageing of the skin or organs. Sometimes, you may see a young man or woman with some premature-ageing signs like an ageing-skin on their body. Those signs are caused by some factors we have contact with on a regular base.

Smoking

Smoking weakens the organs in the body and this leads to a quick malfunction of some organs like the heart, the lungs and other organs in the body. It also causes the premature-ageing mark that mostly appears on the mouth of smokers. these are marks that may take up to 20 years before appearing on the mouth of non-smokers. Furthermore, the reasons for the premature-ageing signs like wrinkles among smokers is due to the facts that the smokes lower the level of vitamin C in their blood. Vitamin C is an essential element which is responsible for the production of collagen fibres which are liable for the elasticity and good looking of the skin.

Unbalanced diets

A diet with low protein and high starch can cause the connective tissue of the body to swell and lose its elasticity. Protein is essential for the formation of protein structure and also some essential elements like elastic fibres, collagen and hyaluronic which helps the skin to be elastic and smooth

Long time exposure to sunlight can lead premature-ageing-skin
prolong exposure to sunlight is one of the major causes of premature-ageing. It hastens the appearance of black spots, wrinkles and also lowers the skin elasticity. Reports have it that about 70% of the premature ageing-skin is caused by radiations from sunlight. The radiations from the sun hasten the ageing of the collagen fibres via an oxidation process. This result in a deformed fragile and rigid elastic collagen. This process is called solar elastosis. The increased oxidation state of the body also affect the genes in the body cells, leading to an abnormal division of the body cells. Also, solar radiation equally increases the danger of malignant and pre-malignant skin lesion and also encourage rough, wrinkled add thin skin. This also damages the oil or sebaceous gland, leading to the dry and sensitive skin.

A diet low in vegetables and fruits

Fruits and vegetables contain some antioxidant substances like beta-carotene, lycopene and other antioxidant substances which help to lower the oxidation damages caused by exposure to excess sunlight. This antioxidant enters the inner part of the skin also known as dermis and neutralize the oxidative harms caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight. Furthermore, vegetable and fruits contain plenty of vitamin C which helps to smoothen the skin.

Prolong emotional stress

A Prolonged emotional stress can stimulate the adrenal gland to increase the anxiety of the body. This stressed hormone speeds up the ageing processes of the organs.

Excess consumption of alcohol
Too much intake of alcohol can harm the skin texture, colour and also affect the eye socket. It can also lead to bulged eyes and also affects the skin due to the buildup of toxic materials in the dermis or the inner layer of the skin.

Depression

Prolonged feelings of depression can shorten the telomeres structures inside the body.

The telomere shortening affects the genetic components (DNA) in all the cells. This prevents mitosis or cell division, leading to the premature ageing skin. Depression can also stimulate the stress hormone and most of these things happen because of personal neglect to one's health.

Lack of sleep

This has been shown to affect the growth hormones secreted in the pituitary gland. Research has shown that it is during the night sleep that these growth hormones can be secreted in adults, and this hormone plays a vital role in keeping the various organs and tissues healthy. It can easily increase quick premature-ageing.

DO REGULAR EXERCISE

Regular exercise is the main key to keeping our body and soul fit. During exercise, most of the harmful toxins, excess salt and others leave our body with heat. It strengthens the whole body and also a natural remedy for the premature ageing skin.

Drink a glass of milk every day
Milk is fortified with amino acid, vitamin A, and other vital proteins which helps to protect the skin and make it look beautiful. It can also prevent the body from the premature ageing skin.

Drink plenty of water every day

About 70% of humans body is made up of water, you have to drink enough water to prevent premature ageing skin. Drink at least of 9 glasses of water per day to moisten your skin and also help in premature ageing-prevention.

The possible complications from premature ageing

Premature ageing is caused by some factors which may be of our lifestyle, diets and so on. If the root cause of premature-ageing is not corrected in time, it may lead to so many complications like:

Skin cancer
Heart failure
Lungs cancer, etc.
Treatments for premature-ageing-skin

Premature-ageing-skin can be treated with anti-ageing therapy in line with some other drugs. A change in lifestyle can also help to prevent premature-ageing. Go to a health centre and examine your body system to know the root cause of the premature-ageing-skin. You should check your hormone status, immune system, antioxidant status digestive analysis blood circulation and others so that the cause will be identified and treated.
