Before the measles vaccine, 2.6 million children in the world died each year (especially if it turned to pneumonia)

Today, thanks to vaccines, measles has now been eradicated from the US. Throughout the world not even 200,000 people die on average each year nowadays thanks to vaccination efforts. The places where the most children die are regions that don't have access to modern vaccines/medicines.

Because of herd immunity and smart science, the pain and suffering that millions of families went through annually has now ended.

May we never go back to those horrible times. It truly was vaccines who helped us build up immunity so that we could easily defeat this destructive disease! The disease could easily kill you before you had enough antibodies, but thankfully w/ vaccines we are now able to build increase antibodies so that no one has to suffer.

Modern medicine has made it so we can save the lives of the youngest, so they can grow up to become the strongest!
