Amygdala hijacking is a term given by Daniel Goleman. Where to describe situations that require us to respond quickly and often emotionally and we regret. Any information that enters through our senses, needs to undergo a long process (albeit in a very short time) until that information can trigger what muscles need to be moved. But it also has a short path that will automatically be taken in situations we must respond without thinking.

This response is very good to keep us from distress. Exposed to fire, for example, would be very unwise if the muscle response to pull the hand licked flame must pass through the long nerve tissue. This is the response to escape from a hazard situation. However, in other situations, where we are being overwhelmed, which we are emotionally incapable of tolerating, we can do things that can regret. We respond to protect ourselves by the method of opponents or run or surrender. For example, the career of a soccer player who always dazzles me, Zinedine Zidane, in the final, overwhelmed by the emotional side, makes him another player's gore that ultimately damages his career. In that situation he thoughtlessly responded to the opponent. In the process of learning, we often flood our minds with unsupportive thoughts.

Fruit thought-fruit that inhibits or pulls us in the opposite direction from our goal. Growing anxiety, being afraid of not being able to feel out of the comfort zone and making you feel unfamiliar, panicked and out of control, which keeps your brain from working optimally. You've studied hard at home, have mastered the lesson - you think - and when you get to the exam, tension comes, fear, anxiety, nerves and other negative emotions flood your mind. Then everything you learn seems to be floating and unsealed in your mind. You can not respond to an opponent or run in this situation.

Finally you give up, blank. Without being able to answer the exam, plus more panic overwhelmed because less time to complete the exam questions. The funny thing is, when the exam is over, where all the time your tension is over, you are resigned (perhaps desperate and willing to pass what has passed). Suddenly the answer from the test question was haunted on your mental screen as if laughing at you. This is one example of a condition called the amygdala hijacking. So negative emotions, unsupportive selftalks, which bring up more negative emotions that flood the mind will hijack the potential of our extraordinary brain. One way that we can use is the condition of genius. With the condition of genius, we make ourselves calm and work the brain was back to optimal.

We open the gates between the conscious and the subconscious so that information from outside can go freely-we can learn fast-and we can get answers, bottom up, from the subconscious easily too. We can also improve self-esteem by altering the state of our bodies. Modeling a state of confidence and calm. There are many other ways that we can use. What do you think is the way we can make ourselves avoid the hijacking of the amygdala? Share your thoughts below. Love to get your perspective.
