How many of you think that hair increases your personality? I think the answer will be everyone. Strong and healthy hair really makes you handsome. No one wants to lose his or her hair. Mainly women give extra care for their hair. They always use different methods to make their hair strong and bright. But even after their extra care, hair starts falling due to certain reasons. In case of younger people, it is very depressing matter. They go after different remedial processes such as hair transplant, hair weaving and many more to prevent their hair falling. Some of institutions offer several medicines that can not only prevent hair falling, but also help in regaining new hair. I don’t know whether these medicines give any positive result, because I don’t have any data that can prove their claim.

We will now talk various conditions that force people to opt hair replacement procedures

It is said that hair falling is a normal case and it occurs with everyone. Normally, 50 to 100 hairs fall every day. But when hair falling exceeds 150 on a daily basis with decreasing hair regrowth, it may cause baldness. It needs immediate treatment so that doctors can know the root cause of extra hair falls. If it is ignored and left untreated, the hair falling conditions may get aggravated and finally it may lead to complete baldness. So it is very important for both male and female to know the reasons that cause hair loss.

Hair fall may be a Genetic problem

Genetic problem is one of the several reasons that causes severe hair fall in young groups. This condition is known as Androgenic Alopecia, a hereditary problem, which heavily damages the health of hair. Male pattern baldness is such a condition in which the hair of front or top section of the scalp get affected and destroyed. Sometimes it happens with younger boys who are about 20 years old. In case of women, it is called female pattern baldness which generally occurs after 40 and causes heavily hair destruction, leading to baldness. But the hair failing is also a natural process that happens older or aged people. In medical term, it is known as Involutional Alopecia.

There are three hair growth stages called Anagen, Catagen, and Telogen.

Anagen Stage

This is a phase when hair follicles grow actively by dividing their roots and covers 1 cm area at the interval of every 28 days. It continues for two to six years in which new cells are generated which help in the growth of new hair.

Catagen Stage

The life of catagen phase is very short about 2 to 3 weeks which generally occurs just after anagen phase ends. It is also known as transition phase in which hair gets clubbed.

Telogen Stage

The Telogen Stage is called the resting phase in which 70 percent of hair can get affected before due time when stress increases severely. In this condition, hair starts falling which is known as telogen effluvium.

There is a term called Alopecia Universalis, in which the hair of the whole body starts falling. This condition, which severely damages their hair, is noticed in some people.

A condition called Alopecia areata, in which hair starts falling in patches which further lead to total baldness condition called Alopecia Totalis. Younger people often face this type of problem. But in some cases, it is studied that this condition can be removed.

There are some illnesses like folliculitis, acne, lichen planus which cause inflammation. This illness can become the reason of permanent hair loss, because the regrowth process of the hair gets destroyed. This condition is also known as Scarring Alopecia.
