Health and Fitness Challenge: At least 100 reps of exercise every day.
This is a fitness and health group on Steemit. People supporting each other to exercise and maintain their health. I encourage you to join in on this challenge, just doing 30 mins or more of exercise each day is very good for your health and well-being.
-It's ok to start with a number you're comfortable with if you can't reach 100. You choose what exercises to do. Weights; running; Exercise workout; etc.
-30 minutes of dedicated brisk walking, running, spinning; exercise can count as 100 reps.
-Try to maintain a good, healthy diet. Eat natural foods and stay well hydrated.

I am also a strong believer in balancing both mind and body so I do Transcendental Meditation (20 minutes) and the advanced TM-Sidhis (1 hour) every day.
My Regimen
Today I substituted using a mattock (pick-ax) for digging in the mountainside instead of exercising with light dumbells. 40 minutes of digging and my arms are still tired. Counting it as 40 reps. Note: I made a new bed - digging into rock and clay as I am on a mountainside. Shovels are useless here. :-)
Daily Challenge Completed - 470 reps
Physical
200 reps - Walking 30 minutes X 2; includes down and up elevation of 300 ft
20 reps - yoga asanas - 10 min X 2
10 reps - pranayama (yogic breathing exercises) 5 min X 2
40 reps - 40 minutes of heavy digging with a mattock
Mental
200 reps = 1+ hours X 2 Transcendental Meditation and advanced TM-Sidhi (morning and evening)
