We can keep our kidney healthy and fit by avoiding certain habits that cause a lot of harm to the most important part of our body, the kidneys. At a glance:
• Avoid too much consumption of sweet
• Avoid too much of protein
• Avoid Skipping Exercise
• Avoid blocking or stopping urine
• Avoid painkiller abuse
• Avoid excess drinking of caffeine
• Avoid smoking
• Avoid too much consumption of alcohol
• Avoid too much consumption of salts
• Avoid waking up the whole night
##Q: What are the effects of these habits on the kidney, when we not try to avoid it but follow it?
###1) Too much consumption of sweet
Using excessive sweet like chocolates, candy, desserts and packed snacks can badly affect our kidney. A scientific study confirmed that high consumption of fructose leads to increase the uric acid level, which ultimately causes cardio-renal disease.
###2) Blocking or stopping urine
Not early emptying of the bladder causes increase urine pressure in your kidney, which causes renal failure and incontinence.
###3) Painkiller abuse
When pain occurs, it is a very easy task to swallow pills, but keep one thing in mind all pharmaceutical drugs come with side effects and may cause damage to the kidney.
###4) Too much alcohol consumption
Alcohol contains a toxin which not only damages our liver but also our kidney. So use alcohol in moderation to avoid kidney diseases.
###5) Smoking
Smoking adversely affects your BP, increase heart rate and also narrow the blood vessel of the kidney. Smokers lose kidney function faster than a non-smoker.
###6) Not drinking enough water
Drinking enough water up to 8 glasses in a day is important for proper functioning of kidney. It has also the good effect on the removal of kidney stone up to 0.5 sizes. If you are not taking enough water, so toxin accumulated in your blood, which affects the filtration of a healthy kidney.
###7) Not treating infection quickly
Untreated viral infection harms your kidney. If you have flu, cold and tonsillitis, etc, so taking rest is important to prevent kidney damage.
###8) Being deficient in vitamins and minerals:
Vitamin B6 and D deficiency increases the risk of kidney damage and leads to stone formation. Magnesium is also very important mineral, without this mineral we can’t get rid of excessive calcium, which causes a kidney stone.
###9) Not sleeping well
Get a good 7-8 hours of sleep every day because sleep is vital for body process. In sleep body heels, renews itself including kidney tissues. If a person isn’t taking enough sleep so this person suffers arterial blockage, which raises the BP and can damage kidney badly.
###10) Consuming too much salt
Limit sodium intake to fewer than 2300mg a day. High level of sodium in the diet, whether in salt form in cooking or from any other source is problematic, especially for hypertensive people.
###11) Drinking excessive caffeine
The study proved that long-term caffeine usage causes chronic kidney failure because it increases Bp and put a strain on organs. Caffeine also causes kidney stone because it releases a lot of calcium in the urine.
###12) Eating too much protein in the diet
The kidney is responsible for filtering out toxins, like nitrogen and ammonia that is produced from protein source. So when a person uses too much protein in the diet, so kidney goes into out drive mode and begins hyperfiltration, which damages our kidney.
###13) Skipping exercise
Weight loss has a positive impact on renal function as compared to a severely obese individual. Exercise improves body circulation and kidney filtration.
So if you want your kidney to remain healthy so avoid all those habits which affect your kidney.
