I mainly use Choice organic teas and pick between their white, black and green teas. Classic Green, Russian Caravan, Earl Grey and White Peony are among some of my favorites. I mix and match depending on my mood.
Summer is a great time to experiment with different fruits and herbs from the garden. Strawberries and basil definitely makes the list of my top 3 kombucha flavors! It goes great with a tea mix of Earl Grey and Classic Green. Blackberries and sage is another winner on my list. I used a White Peony and Earl grey tea concoction for that one. 
One of my favorite teas to use in making the brew is mango flavored. I found the mango tea leaves at Whole Foods and was so happy I did. I'm not an avid coffee drinker but I do enjoy an occasional cup so when I decided to to add some dark roast coffee beans to my mango tea brew - I was shocked it tasted so coffeelicious! My husband is not a coffee person, at all, so I guess I'm lucky I get to enjoy this variety all to myself! Give this flavor a try if you like coffee!
For my next batch of kombucha I'm going to add peaches and basil to my mango flavored tea. It sounds oddly delicious so I can't wait to try it! What are your favorite kombucha flavors?
