Myth #1: All antibiotics are the Devil!
No, no, no! This myth is propagated by homeopaths and naturopaths alike! Antibiotics can save lives, limbs and organs! In some cases a severe acute disease can kill, and we no longer need to die so painfully and abruptly ...worse than death is the maiming that some diseases can incur; life without eyes, ears, or kidneys is a tougher one to navigate hence if we can save these vital functions then please stop the mythology!
At times patients just do not have the vital energy nor the reserve nutrition to fight and resolve the infection at hand just with homeopathics and immediate nutritional intervention. This is where antibiotics must be utilised when all else has failed and time must not be wasted whilst we scramble for the ‘fitting’ remedy.
Once enough experience is gained through seeing a multitude of patients, the practitioner can gauge what that exact time line is. Every disease and individual is unique. In my practice I bargain for time with the medical profession all the time. If I do not achieve my realistic timelines then I do not resist the devil’s drugs for my own ego and belief systems. Homeopathy is not a religion; it has to act quick in a potentially dangerous acute or an alternative must be sought.
Myth#2: Antibiotics are Curative
Nooooooooo! This is absolute fiddlesticks. They are NEVER curative. They just buy us enough ‘time’. Do not ever fall into the trap of believing that the disease has been eradicated after antibiotics. You will be in for as much a surprise as the patient in this case.
The organisms that are attacked by antibiotics are much like the intelligent enemy attacked by a large army; if they have sense they should retreat into hiding; giving themselves enough time to recover from the casualties, feed, drink, gather up more soldiers and heavier artillery to launch a counter-offensive. If you are not familiar with ‘Bio-films’ then please research immediately.
If the patient has been broken and has no vitality for this second offensive then stronger antibiotics will ensue with a much worse scenario of a secondary chronic disease, which will be painstakingly complex to resolve than to accept facts and prepare the body for an acute scenario.
Therefore it is imperative that the practitioner continues with prescribing both alongside the antibiotics and after the course is finished by not only cleaning up the system from antibiotics, but to also rebuild the gut whilst addressing the root cause of the initial acute that ravaged the body to begin with and the reasons as to why the patient lacked the ability to fight off the infection swiftly. This strategy can ensure that once the same disease resurfaces then it will be much milder and the patient’s own system is capable of fighting off and re-centring to achieve homeostasis.
