Want to INCREASE YOUR ENERGY? Here is how you can do it NATURALLY!

in health •  8 years ago  (edited)

These are some simple tricks I have found to naturally increase your energy! I hope it helps you as much as it did with me.

1.) Exercise
Start your day off with some cardiovascular exercise. 25 jumping jacks will get your blood flowing and add oxygen to your body helping you to wake up.

2.) Swish hydrogen peroxide
Yes, that's right! Swish some food grade hydrogen peroxide in your mouth for a minute which will also help to add oxygen to your body. Oxygen levels thousands of years ago were much higher which helped humans perform more optimally than we do today. Another positive side effect of this is it will whiten your teeth!

3.) Good nutrition
Here is a list of great foods which improve the energy production process.

Spinach and other greens - iron and fiber

Citrus fruits - vitamin C, potassium, folate, calcium, thiamin, niacin, vitamin B6

Sweet potatoes - carbohydrates, vitamins A and C
Brown rice - manganese
Bananas - glucose, fructose, sucrose and fiber
Beans - full of protein and complex carbs

Honey - a natural sugar source with vitamin B6, niacin, thiamine, pantothenic acid, riboflavin, copper, calcium, iron, manganese, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, sodium, and zinc

4.) Supplements
Cordyceps - eastern medicine for athletic endurance and sexual stamina

Ginseng - take 2 capsules of 100mg twice per day for ultimate euphoria!

Coca tea - good for digestion and well being, you used to be able to get it on amazon.com but now have to import

Kratom - a mild stimulant and painkiller, be careful with this one as it may cause moderate withdrawl symptoms

5.) Water
Everybody should be drinking eight 8 ounce glasses of water per day. Purified or distilled and NOT out of plastic bottles!

And here are some things you should avoid
These things are quite easily understood to be detrimental to longevity and sustainable energy levels!
Tobacco, alcohol, caffeine (only good for temporary energy), aspartame and artificial sugars, cane sugar, preservatives, artificial colors, flavors and enriched flour products.

Healthy body and mind are essential to maintaining optimal energy. Remember to get a good nights rest also and do not sleep near cell phones or wifi routers because they prevent melatonin production. Detoxing the body is also essential in addition to minimal dairy and meat products!

A good list, but I think you forgot to add a good night's rest! Can't have energy if you don't sleep lol.

Came to say this exact thing @cashbandicoot!

I'm think most helpful its a good sleep :)
zzzZzzzzZz

Great list @noganoo! I also take Bee Pollen. Dr. Axe has a good article: https://draxe.com/bee-pollen/

It's amazing how much more energy I have after seriously reducing my sugar intake. I usually eat fewer than 50g of sugar so I'm usually in a ketogenic state, and I really don't have energy drops anymore.

I brush my teeth with baking soda

baking soda is like the legendary invention, it can be used on almost anything from cleaning floor, clothes, food

I live off of coffee and tobacco.... Good solid sleep is key to energy rest of that stuff is just bonus

Great post, always can use more energy, I've read Apples actually give you extra energy and are a great replacement to the caffeine of both coffee and tea in the morning.
-Cheers!

Great. You can also go fly a kite like Benjamin Franklin.

it makes sense to incorporate exercise with weights to increase metabolism, and other preferences. ))) And of course meditation )))

Being in the health industry I see all sorts of people that want great health, energy, fitness... but will not take the time to read, understand or implement any of the steps laid out in this helpful article.

Thank you for posting this as there are some items I have not worked with before.

Funny story, I had a client come in recently that wanted to loose weight and deal with a host of other issues. She came to the session with a Dunkin Donuts bag (unknown what was in it, but I would say not clean food)... and a huge ice coffee that looked more cream than coffee.

They will only learn if more people come to healthy ways, just like what is happening with smokers now, their numbers are seriously dwindling, there is this shift in health as well thanks to folks like you trying to help.
