Eating animal protein is way too acidic for human bodies. We sacrifice our bones each time we consume meat. Our bones are made up of calcium phosphate, and we take in all the acidity when we eat, so the phosphate has to leech from our bones to neutralize the acidity, meanwhile we actually loose calcium when we pee. This results in weaker bones.
