Why we transitioned away from veganism

in health •  5 years ago

I genuinely believe you have to listen to your body. The vegan diet is not for everyone. My husband has to watch his FODMAPS which is hard on a vegan diet. I never had a problem being vegetarian with occasional ethical meat (only from 28 yo - before that I was full vego) and not a lot of dairy, but that's me. What works for you is different. I cook a lot of vegan food but prefer to call it plant BASED - vegan is such a stigma these days, and people seem to be either/or without realising every body is different. It must have been a really, really tough time for you - I'm glad you found your way. xx
