Weight issues

in health •  7 years ago  (edited)

Of late I have noticed that many people are not happy with the way they look. Some want their waist to be slimmer by few inches, some want their tummies to tuck in, some want chiseled abs while some would want toned legs. I have seen women making rounds at various fancy gyms that burn a hole in the pockets yet achieve nothing. Some even don't mind going under the knife to get the figure they could flaunt. The iony is, these rich pay to sweat at gym while their maid gets paid to sweat at home.

There is one lady in my friends circle who pays 12K INR per month to the nutritionist and an extra 6K per month for a fancy gym membership. She sweats for an hour at gym, eats what her nutritionist has prescribed and sleeps all day complaining how hectic her day was. She is so filthy rich that she has help for even lifting her leg from the bed to the floor (sarcastic). Is she loosing weight? No, not even a bit.

It is time that we Indians learn to do our jobs ourself. Mopping the house, gardening, sweeping etc are some exercises that we need to do to stay fit. I understand some people work at office so doing things at home is difficult, but then work at office has minimal movement making you put on weight on your tummy. Healthy lifestyle with a little bit of light bending exercises would be enough to keep you fit and healthy.

Eat healthy stay fit :)
