When people have pain where the reason is unknown it can be that neurons are firing wrong. They are little things that transport signals electrically and chemically and sometimes they go out of tact. Ketamine can reset them and make them work properly again.

I am not a doctor but read a lot about all sorts of drugs. That doctors prescribe opioids which do not work in all cases of pain and let the patients have incredible suffering is outrageous. A monitored application of the substance for 3 days can heal around 80% of these cases where the patients feel like their skin is burning et cetera.

But a controlled 2-5 day coma with breathing support is not always necessary. It also helps immediately after taking it. Depression goes away. People are pain free at least for a while and get new hope.

The brilliance of the experience is very difficult up to not explainable at all to anyone who didn't try it. Some people believe to know everything about reality but actually have no clue at all. Don't follow them. They pretend to be informed by being authoritarian or any other way to fool you. Believe in yourself.

Therapies cost around 1000 dollars depending where you are. A self-administration is possible but dangerous when the person doesn't have experience. Always try with the lowest possible dose (threshold) to find out if you have an allergy or any other problems. Do not mix any other drugs with it (alcohol and coffee are drugs). Have a helper who can call the emergency and do not eat at least 6 hous before. Also don't drink and go to the toilet before doing it.

Best is to do it legally. Because of legal reasons I am not recommending this to anyone and at the same time have to say that there is no other substance I know of which has the oustandingly phenomenal properties of a molecule someone called ketamine.
