My little portable pharmacy

I'm not a pill popper, but because I do get migraines from dairy products and eggs, and I suffer from a gluten intolerance, it's inevitable that I'll need a pill now and then, especially when I'm away from home and can't really control what I'm eating. Some people mean it well when they serve you gluten-free cake or bread, but I know it contains egg and sometimes milk too. So as not to be ungrateful towards a gracious hostess, I keep my lips sealed and eat something. Normally I take my own food along, and my family and friends know me by now, and accept it as part of my life, but sometimes it's not possible.

Most often I develop a runny nose from someone's perfume, handcream, or when someone close to me is smoking.

You get the picture.

I came upon this cheap little plastic container with a screw on lid, it's about an inch and a half tall, and it fits nicely in my handbag.

In it I have:

a few paracetamols for when a "normal" headache strikes;
a few famucaps to dry up a runny nose;
one migril, which works fast when I can feel a migraine coming on;
a few loperamides for a runny tummy;
a few stemetils for nausea;
a few lancap capsules for heartburn, and
2 candy sweeties to suck on, as those famucaps make my mouth feel like cardboard.

It's a little hack that makes my life so much easier, and no one even notices when the need arises for me to delve into my mini portable pharmacy.
