According to a number of sources, Pakistan has the forth highest use of water in the world. IMF states that Pakistan’s per capita annual water availability is 1017 cubic meters; this is dangerously close to the scarcity threshold of 1000 cubic meters. In 2009 the annual water availability was 1500 cubic meters - this drop in water availability highlights just how important it is to conserve water.
In addition to that, The Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources has alerted that the company will reach absolute water scarcity by 2025. In other words, the PCRW warns that the country will more or less run dry by 2025.
We have seen how relatively minor changes regarding how we behave and who we are can have dramatic changes on our external environment - clean up graffiti and all of a sudden people who would otherwise commit infractions suddenly do not.
Preserve. Conserve. Exist.
