Antidepressants Increase the Risk of Suicide, Violence and Homicide at All Ages- FDA/BMJ

I have been trying to find info, stat's specifically about what percentage of the population under 18 years old in the U.S.A. is on psychotropic medication. Seeing stats over the past 5 yrs. to 10 yrs. would be better. Are people incorrectly being diagnosed as having depression? Are drugs being prescribed too quickly before working through the core issue? have heard that Pharma is a big business and many are profiting greatly from it. That's all I have for now.

This is the closest I could find to an actual breakdown of the numbers but it's from 2013. So we would have to dig further to find the last 5 years. https://www.cchrint.org/psychiatric-drugs/children-on-psychiatric-drugs/
"The following information is the most accurate and documented data available on psychiatric drug usage in the United States. The information is from IMS Health, a company that provides information, services and technology for the healthcare industry. It is the largest vendor of U.S. physician prescribing data. The following data was taken from IMS Health Vector One National database Year 2013, Extracted April 2014."

Thinking of prescribing and Big Pharma I'll just leave this quote here:

“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.” Upton Sinclair

Thank you for posting that link, I found that one earlier today too.
It's not so easy to find, the number's are somewhere hidden in the shadows.
We need percentages too.

I found this link, but doesn't have age bracket's. If the number's doubled in that time period, where is it at now?

Thank you for this share! It contains a lot of related links that are good to have!

You're welcome. We need to find out why so many people are on anti depressants and what is causing all the depression. I just finished browsing another article that includes a report that states that in between the years 1988-2011, anti depressant use increased by 400%!! What is it up to now?? Seems to me that there has been some sort of psychological warfare campaign going on in our country, for realizes.

Indeed- something is failing somewhere.

absolutely. Also, if the number's keep increasing at that rate, we won't have enough "eligible" people to serve in our military. Sorry, as you know, I live in FL and it appears that we are in the crosshairs of something here. All of a sudden, over the past couple of years there has been a few incidents in Florida.

Yes- I thought about you living in Florida. Did you see @Dakini5D video about Florida- and the symbolism of the name of the school? OMG- My jaw dropped. I'll go get it.
