This series examines common artificial food ingredients and their health effects.
High Fructose Corn Syrup
What is it and where is it commonly found?
From Foodbabe.com
What it is: Heavily processed sweetener made from cornstarch, contains more fructose than regular corn syrup.
Commonly found in: Soft drinks, pancake syrup, BBQ sauce, ketchup, cookies, breads, buns, frosting, pies.
What are some negative health impacts associated with High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS)?
From Dr. Group’s Global Healing Center
1. Significant Risk of Weight Gain and Obesity
2. Increased Risk of Developing Type-2 Diabetes
3. Hypertension and Elevated “Bad” Cholesterol Levels
4. High Fructose Corn Syrup and Liver Damage
5. Mercury Exposure from HFCS
When I examine anything, I like to gather information from many different sources, so let's not take Dr. Group's word at face value alone.
In reference to HFCS effect on the liver, the following is from The National Institutes Of Health.
High-fructose corn syrup-55 consumption alters hepatic lipid metabolism and promotes triglyceride accumulation.
What does that mean?
In plain English, it means that it has a negative impact on the liver.
Regarding diabetes, the following is from webmd.com
Countries that mix high-fructose corn syrup into processed foods and soft drinks have higher rates of diabetes than countries that don’t use the sweetener, a new study shows.
A study that was quoted in Science Daily showed that HFCS is linked to weight gain.
From sciencedaily.com
High-fructose corn syrup prompts considerably more weight gain, researchers find
HFCS also causes blood sugar to spike. Studies have shown that high blood sugar increases risk of dementia. The following is from harvard.edu.
A study published today in the New England Journal of Medicine shows that even in people without diabetes, above normal blood sugar is associated with an increased risk of developing dementia.
HFCS has also been linked to Pancreatic Cancer.
From the American Association For Cancer Research
Fructose Induces Transketolase Flux to Promote Pancreatic Cancer Growth

I recently found out that I am allergic to some artificial compound ( soups, powders and similar).
It is getting worse and I still din't found what exactly that is.
Tests are negative.

I'm sorry to hear that. I find that when I have to confront a health issue, the best way for me to find substantial answers is through trial and error, i.e., the process of elimination. I hope you find answers soon.

From my own LONG personal experience in identifying the culprits in my food I found the first thing to look for is any monosodium glutemate (MSG) it now does not need to be on the label here in the US, because if they call it a natural flavoring ingredient it seems to pass their "test" of concealment. It can play havoc on the entire body.
What most notice first is reoccurring headaches with no explanation, then that leads us down the path of misdiagnoses and deadly treatments that move us on from simple headaches to chronic fatigue syndrome diagnosis, on to a fibromyalgia diagnosis and later on to things like MS and Parkinson's. This is where due diligence must come in to play.
As @steeminganarchy mentions: Process of elimination and of course A LOT OF RESEARCH!

This is definitely the type of information people should be getting. So many are simply mis-informed and downright DIS-informed when it comes to making the right choices for health. Not only is it important for families to have this info but schools that serve children lunches, day care centers, health care providers and hospitals. One would think that it would be given without question, unfortunately it is not. Quite the opposite is happening, the info is blatantly being kept from them imho

Great points, @vickiebarker. Thanks for the comment. It's amazing how many people don't question anything, which makes them easy targets for dis and mis-information from the powers that shouldn't be.
