I first started taking fermented COD beacuse I wanted a natural source of vitamin D (I live in Sweden and don't get much sun.

I regulary take a vitamin D test and this fermented COD from Green Pastures really works.

The good thing about this COD is that it also contains butter oil witch makes it a great source of important nutrients like, vitamin D, A, K, Omega 3, 6, 7, 9

Great to see cod liver oil on Steemit - @kiwideb and I sell it here in New Zealand (Green Pasture and Nutrapro).

One tip for making it easier to take is to have a teaspoon of nut butter straight afterwards

I used to take cod liver oil when i was younger. Didn't know there was a fermented option.

Me too! Our parents was pretty smart and knew it was good for us 😀
The fermentation process doesn't damage the nutrients (like other heat processing methods) and also makes them more absorbable by the body.

This is very interesting. I've never heard of this as a natural source for Vitamin D. I have been taking Calcium Citrate Fortified with Vitamin D but will give COD a try. Thanks for the heads up. :)

No problem 😀👍

Does it help with keratosis pilaris?

All nutrients is important for a healthy body.
Vitamin D is supposed to work wonders for diffrent skin conditions.
I actually had a skin condition on my upper arms that only surfaced in the winter months.
Now its gone and I believe it a combination of different nutrient and lifestyle changes.
One thing that kept it at bay was Colloidal Silver.

Sounds Delicious

It actually tastes really bad 😝 and thats why I use the cinnamon taste.
You can also choose capsules but it's more expensive.

I always heard of people complaining of fish oils and the taste and burps correlating to taking them. Since i dont eat fish and dont want that taste at all I was hesitant to use omega pills. When i tried them for the first time I didnt taste or have any effects from them. Fermented version is probably very different, and its non capsule? Ill pass for now.

I was exactly like you. Have tried many brands of fish oil capsules and some of them makes you burp really bad.
I use a odorless one from Jarrow Formulas for extra omega 3.
Actually this fermeted COD only leaves a small cinnamon taste for a few minues and no fishy burps 👍
I take it with some of my morning smoothie and get no aftertaste.
