Healthy & Delicious Walnut Oatmeal Dark Chocolate Cookies

No one can eat just one cookie. However, the high sugar content and low protein content makes it a bad choice if you eat too many of them.
 
Next time your kids or you want to eat a lot of cookies, don't worry. Enjoy as many of them as you like and still be healthy.

Here is the recipe for healthy oatmeal dark chocolate cookies.
 
 
 

Ingredients:

 

  1. Coconut Oil(1 Cup)
  2. Deseeded Dates(1 Cup)
  3. Walnuts(1/3 Cup)
  4. Steel-cut oats(1 Cup)
  5. Eggs(2)
  6. Cocoa Powder(1 Cup)
  7. Baking Soda(1/2 tsp)

 
 

Coconut Oil


 

Coconut oil is very delicious and it offers a tonne of health benefits. It is good for skin, anti-inflammatory and a perfect alternative to hydrogenated oil.
 
You can alter the ratio of coconut oil to oats if you like. If you want the cookies to be crunchy, use less oil and more oats.

 
 
 

Dates

 

Take deseeded dates and turn them into a thick paste using a blender. Dates are a perfect and healthy alternative to refined sugar.
 
They're not only delicious but a rich source of minerals and other nutrients. Sugar is just sugar, moreover, it is highly processed most of the time. Avoid it.

 
 
 

Walnuts

Method:

 

  • Preheat the oven to 170-degree Celsius.
  • Take a large bowl and mix all the ingredients.
  • Take a spoon and drop heaps of the mixture on an ungreased baking sheet. Use the spoon to press the heaps to give them a shape of cookies.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes in the oven.
  • Allow the cookies to cool.
