I agree. Physical affection and love are like water. They are a basic human need. Without it, babies will fail to thrive, yet as adults we often are too proud or too brainwashed to be able to admit that we need touch as well. It's so taboo, because touch is often associated with sex, but it doesn't have to be. Some people call the condition of being without hugs or loving touch "skin hunger. " I think that is a very good phrase for it. So, get hugs and give hugs to conquer and extinguish skin hunger and bring hope to people that feel like they are alone. (((TIGHT HUGS to all of you reading this right now)))
