We all know very well that the lack of sleep affects our health. Lack of sleep leads to lack of concentration, uric acid, headaches, eye irritation and fatigue. The list of side effects of sleep deprivation is very long. A new research has shown that if you do not get enough sleep, the thickness of the waist increases, and it also keeps the brain at risk.

In a study conducted at Leeds University of Britain, it was found that those who take average sleep for less than six hours, or wake up late at night, their waist size increases. This research has been published in the Plus One Journal. This study included 1615 people. Their sleep and food drinking activities were tracked. Also, the amount of sugar and cholesterol in the blood was measured.

Studies have shown that the amount of fats increases on the waist of a person with a low sleep. According to researchers, the amount of good cholesterol HDL in low sleepers is also reduced. Good cholesterol controls the fat in the body and prevents various types of heart diseases. Along with this, it has also been found that having less sleep also affects the body's dietary system. Along with the waist, the ability of the brain also has the effect of a lack of sleep.

According to a research published in the Sleep Journal in late 2014, to wake up late in the night, and less gold reduces the ability of the brain several times. At this stage, the amount of protein in the brain increases significantly, which plays an important role in damaging the brain. These proteins are found in very small quantities in people who are very sleepy. This is why due to lack of sleep, headache often begins.
When you do not get enough sleep, the brain is unable to perform repair and maintenance activities, resulting in many side effects. Therefore it is very important to take good sleep for mental and physical health.

I like your post.

I sleep for max 5 hours in a day for 3 years. I gained weight as above mentoined. But i think lack of sleep is not the only reason of my waist thickness. I am working on a desk job, not moving really much. And my only time for exercise is on weekends which i spent 2 of them on a month in overdue. So, lack of move also makes your waist thick, hurts heart health and affects brain activities.

Shortly, fuck desk jobs!

Im sure they have done it i just have been to lazy to look until now . But i would like to see a study on REM sleep vs sleep. I to this day believe REM is key . Quicker your body gets into the REM quicker you feel rejuvenated .
