FoodBabe - list of companies removing toxins from our food in 2016

We’ve come a long way Food Babe Army! 2016 was full of surprises and a lot of turmoil – but there was so much good to reflect on, these are some of my favorite moments of 2016…

At a recent conference, executives from legacy food companies agreed that consumers want to buy clean, healthy food and that this isn’t just a fad – it’s here to stay. Iconic food brands are now on a “real food journey”, removing artificial additives and eliminating harmful farming practices (like routine antibiotics). They are moving in the right direction and they aren’t alone. The good food revolution is in full force thanks to the Food Babe Army, activist organizations and countless consumers that are taking back their health!

Here are some of the foods my family and I eat and can now eat with just a little bit more pleasure knowing that the FoodBabe and other leaders like her are making a difference in our lives.

  1. Campbell’s labels GMO ingredients (Jan 2016). Although nothing has changed it's a step in the right direction and people have a right to know what's in their food.

  2. Campbell’s eliminates BPA from cans (March 2016). This is something worth celebrating. Not only is BPA linked to hormonal imbalances it also is made from the dangerous chemical called Benzine.

  3. Taco Bell ditches antibiotics (April 2016). Cheap food that I eat more than I should. Very good news.

  4. McDonald’s starts to clean up their buns and McNuggets (August 2016). They removed a nasty preservative from their nuggets and are taking out the hidden sugar in their buns. Which is also awesome because my family eats there about once a week.

  5. Cheez-It’s indicates they will remove TBHQ (August 2016). A nasty preservative that causes cancer and my son loves these things so that's more good news.

Lots of wins for the people to celebrate this year. God only knows how many lives will be saved from these simple changes in our food and I wouldn't be surprised if people loose a few extra pounds out of the blue from less toxins in their food.

Keep up the good work FoodBabe! I can't wait to see how many wins we get next year.

Many Thanks.

She is a Hack and spreads false information. She is one of the most dangerous people on twitter.

She will say anything true or false to get a click.

You are suckers!!

A Hack, how so?

These websites are the Real Fake News sites.

NPR is a propaganda arm for the left and receives money from the government.

Don't believe their lies.

I followed her on twitter for months.. She spreads bad information. Common sense wins Regardless of whether u feel these are fake news.

you chose to believe its fake news websites because someone told you it was fake news.
and you chose to believe what foodbabe says as well based on your own opinions.

Science doesn't lie.

I choose to believe she is a hack after following her for months and she contradicts herself every few months with "new" info that has no scientific basis.

I think she convinced many people that eating too much rice will cause Diabetes. Insanity!!

You can follow her. You can believe her. That's your right but she is just a loud person.

Well white rice is bad for you.

8. Brown Rice is a Slow-Release Sugar

Unlike stripped rice, brown rice can help keep blood sugar stabilized as it releases sugars slowly and in a sustained fashion. This makes it a better option for diabetics, as compared to white rice. While studies in Asia have shown a link between the consumption of white rice and risk of type 2 diabetes, new research shows that individuals who eat at least two servings of brown rice weekly can reduce their chances of developing diabetes 2 by up to 11 percent.

Nice article from a global warming conspiracy theorist. Climate gate debunked all this global warming nonsense back in 2009 and exposed a government conspiracy to fake climate change data.

Oh, right! Thank you for the clarification. As you were.
