The Hogao with Venezuelan Flavor

Hello dear friends of the steemit community!

Bored of eating the same!

Well, today I come to present you a delicious stew better known as "Hogao", this rich stew is of African origin and traditionally prepared in Colombia. We can combine it with many meals, especially with roasted potatoes, yucca and my favorite the patacón. Although I can confess that even for a dinner with arepas are delicious.

Bon Appetite!

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 cup chopped long onion
2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes
¼ teaspoon of salt.

Preparation:

1. Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and stir until it becomes crystalline, then place the tomatoes and salt and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring until soft.
2. Reduce heat to low, cook 15 minutes more, stirring occasionally until sauce has thickened. Adjust the seasoning.
