We don't have an approved RSV vaccine yet, but we do have effective coronavirus and flu vaccines at least. Make sure you get vaccinated and boosted to lower the overall disease burden for hospitals.
Note the previous peak in the summer of 2021 was atypical. RSV generally has a rise in cases starting in the fall and a peak around January and then a drop in cases in the spring.
Hopefully by next year we have RSV vaccines to avoid this.
If you're opposed to vaccines (yes you have the freedom to !) then please have the courage of your convictions and stay out of the hospitals if you become ill with an illness that can be mitigated with a vaccine.
