Laws as pathogens

in healthscience •  4 years ago

I have in my writing over the past years tried to conceptualize laws as having the potential to be both positive for the individual, but, for poorly designed laws, also pathogenic. The reason I've blogged abut that is because the single biggest cause of disease in humans is "pathogenic laws". Since the healthcare system tends to focus on epidemiologically relevant pathogens, it seems reasonable to include the biggest pathogen of them all: executive coercion.
