Healthy Foods Not Considered Everyday

Some foods and drinks have nutritional wonders. Not only healthy, this super food is very important in maintaining the immune system thereby reducing the risk of disease.

  1. Berry Fruit

No matter which berry type you choose, they are all well consumed. Berries such as strawberries, blueberries, blackberries are not only low in calories but contain some of the highest concentrations of antioxidants as well as good amounts of fiber and some essential vitamins including vitamin C.

  1. Green Tea

Not only high in antioxidants, some evidence suggests that green tea can increase fat metabolism.

  1. Probiotics

Probiotics commonly found in yoghurt are natural micro-organisms that can improve the digestive tract of humans by improving the balance of healthy bacteria in the intestine. Probiotics have been shown to help reduce digestive symptoms such as constipation and bloating; helps restore intestinal flora after taking antibiotics and helps balance the bacteria needed for optimal nutrient absorption.

  1. Red pepper

Peppers contain high Vitamin C as well as carotenoid sources. A study says, individuals who regularly take carotenoids during their lives the risk of death is lower because of the avoidance of heart disease, cancer and stroke.

  1. Tomatoes

The famous Tomato is rich in Vitamin C and beta carotene. Research says, cooked tomatoes actually contain high lycopene so it is claimed to reduce the risk of stomach cancer and pancreatic cancer.

  1. Walnuts

The unique thing about walnuts is its high unsaturated fat content. Eating 30 grams of walnuts a day can optimize the composition of cell walls and has been shown to reduce cholesterol levels.

  1. Fish

Fresh fish such as tuna or salmon contain high omega 3 fatty acids. Other health benefits of omega 3 fat include reducing triglycerides, blood pressure and inflammatory processes in the body.

  1. Broccoli

Broccoli is a folate source, an antioxidant lutein that can delay the development of macular degeneration (AMD) and a phytochemical called sulphoraphane, which has certain anti-cancer properties.

  1. Vegetable Soup

A study from The Pennsylvania State University has shown that you consume 25 percent fewer calories when you enjoy a vegetable soup can reduce a variety of disease risks.

  1. Black chocolate

Black chocolate contains antioxidants, flavonoids and phenolic phytochemicals that are higher than tea and wine in terms of antioxidant capacity. But naturally, controlling the number of consumptors is the key.
