Wow, 2018 has already brought unanticipated abundance!

If you would have told me that blogging on Steemit for one month would hold such possibility of financial abundance, I probably wouldn't have believed you. We've been on Steemit for one month and already we are sculpting ideas around how to help support the homestead through sharing our experiences on Steemit and engaging with these awesome communities.

@goldendawne is holding a Healthy2018 contest on Steemit, all about one way to change something in your life to make it a more Healthy2018. This gives me a great opportunity to elucidate and conceptualize some of my financial goals and write them into a post.

We live in rural North America on our permaculture homestead. Taxes are low and there are no zoning regulations (one of the reasons we moved here). It is notoriously difficult to make money as a Farmer, Homesteader, Permaculturist, Artist, Land Based Creative, etc and on our homestead it is no exception. Since starting to travel and farm and garden in our twenties, the proverbial question has always been:

How can we make money doing what we love?

Let me be open with you here: It hasn't always been easy! We've seen the thin times and flush times. We've worked our asses off manifesting our dream of living on the homestead and finances haven't always been abundant. We've always thankfully made ends meet and we are incredibly blessed! We have great health, great relationships and part time work, not to mention we've started a small homestead business that has done quite well in its first month, but we'd love to have a more flush income stream.

Creating this dream has included a hell of a lot of good old fashioned hard work!

I have SO many friends who work just as hard as me.

Some of them are in their 70s!

They've done amazing things in their lives and in the world! Every time I see an older person who is doing amazing things in the world, but who doesn't have their financial situation worked out and who still has to hustle into old age, it is a lesson for me.

Work out finances when we're young!

That's why when Steemit fell into our lap as a potentially lucrative way to make money SHARING our passions, teaching, educating, learning and interacting, we lept on it!

It's a little vulnerable for me to write this, as money is usually a thing we keep private, but here goes:

In 2018, we want to dedicate ourselves Part Time to making a supportive income on Steemit!

Whew, there it goes! The intention into the Universe...
In fact, to support this intention for a financially healthy 2018 and goal setting into our future selves' income ...

We just bought WIFI for 2 years to help us do this. Previously, we'd been steeming from our iphone from the poor service on our rural homestead or, less often, going to the library.

I'm a wholehearted believer in putting ourselves on the edge and taking calculated chances. This is the next one:

1) To dedicate 2 hours a day each to writing, commenting, upvoting, meeting new people and networking.

2) To generate Positivity and furtherance of Earth Centered Values like permaculture, homesteading, gardening, connection with Pachamama (our Earth Mother), natural building, perennials, etc through writing articles

3) Using this income to generate more income through investing in cryptocurrencies

4) Using the Abundance we glean from this income to put Real Life Ideas on the ground through: Funding our own Homestead &

5) Sharing the Abundance by funding Real Life Projects that our Local friends are doing

For example: one friend wants to do a goat share from her herd and sell goat cheese, milk, and kefir. I'd love to be able to fund her project upfront and support her to continue her dream.

Other friends raise meat and make natural products that we can purchase and also market through Steemit!

6) Supporting as many friends in real life as possible to join Steemit and to be supportive to them in teaching them the ropes.

To further this I've already helped @schoonercreek @ozarkdogwood @brazen @therightsideofup @eqilibriam join and get steemin! This makes me so happy as these are my friends and I so believe in spreading the abundance and empowering them!

7) Donate plants, trees, food, and generate income to be able to support people to people in the local community

Wow, this feels really special to write. I would say we are going Full time on Steemit, but honestly the Homestead is legitimately full time so we are dedicating Part time to writing and sharing on Steemit!

This feels really good to write!

With this manifested abundance, I can imagine more financial freedom for the two of us. Including:

1. Getting to hire our friends and pay them actual dolla bills in helping us on the homestead.

2. Taking trips and traveling more to awesome places to continually get inspired!

3. Putting money away to generate more money for our future selves (it's hard to run a homestead with all the physical labor when one gets old!)

4. Paying interns and artists-in-residence actual money to live and work on our homestead
   (This is a biggie as Ini and I wwoofed throughout our twenties and didn't exactly make a living wage ;) in 2018, we're going to welcome some intentional guests in the form of friends as visitors, interns, and artists-in-residence and we'd love to be able to keep the financial abundance flowing and really share the $$!

And so much more!

Really, when I think about the possibilities of making a lucrative income through Steemit, I get so happy and excited. The possibilities are truly endless, and, as generous people, we think of more and more grounded community endeavors we'd love to see hit the ground and run in our own community! Like buying a fruit press and taking it around from homestead to homestead in fall to make juices (and then ciders, etc!)! We also live in a rather poor area and so with more financial abundance we'll be able to be continually creative in finding ways to bring jobs and donate to our local communities.

So here's a very bold and vulnerable look at our #Healthy2018.
