So I'm at work right now and if you don't already know I'm a maintenance technician at a hotel now here in Virginia. And I just feel the need to share this story cause frankly it broke my heart. So we had an elderly guest that apparently fell on the blacktop yesterday I had already left when it happened so I didnt know about it until this morning when I was asked by his wife to help him get to their vehicle. When I walked into the room there sat this little frail 92 year old man. He had black bruises up his arm and even on the side of his face from the fall. His hip hurt him so bad that after i helped him up he couldn't take one step even while holding onto his Walker. So I eventually came up with the idea to roll him out on the desk chair that is in his room. All the while his wife is walking around the hotel doing Lord only knows what. Well I got him out to their vehicle ( which oddly enough was a Chevy Colorado truck) and we had to wait on his wife to show up and unlock the truck. What happened next appalled me honestly.. His wife started telling him to hurry up and basically acted as if sincw it wasnt her she could care less. I told her calm down we'll get him in there and she said well I had polio I fall all the time .... I felt so much rage build up inside me I could of melted her bones with a look I felt like. I told her he needs to go to hospital cause he can't move his hip at all. Then told her there's one less than five miles down the road then she tells me oh no I'll take him when we grt to our destination. They were headed to Dickinson or dickins Tennessee and was here in Marion Virginia... I held my breathe a moment and did my best to hold my tongue and told the man that i prayed everything was alright and that he had a safe trip... I honestly dont understand how people in this world can be so cold cruel and selfish I honestly don't... I really needed that off my chest so thank you for reading it.

Wow .... ... that is all I can say. I hope the man was actually brought to the hospital and is feeling better.

I hope so too but I have no way of finding out. They were from Maryland traveling to southern Tennessee to see their son. I do hope he did get himself some help. Hopefully the son cares about him morw than the wife
