A Mini-Victory

Tonight I beat my final class for the new hearthstone dungeon runs. Most of the classes were pretty easy, had a few rounds of bad luck and then I had two classes I just absolutely struggled with. Rogue and Hunter. I beat Hunter mainly through dumbluck, had some good passives (captured flag +1/+1 minnions helps a lot) and then just had a really nice deck that beat down the opponent a little bit until I hit into a chain of larger beasts like Savanah Highmane.

That being done I was left with Rogue. I'm pretty sure that Hearthstone was trolling with me. I'd had a rough plan, go for the deathrattle/battlecry passives and then fill my deck with cards of that type. But everytime I picked one passive I'd only get cards from the other. Or I'd pass on Kingsbane and then get a bunch of sets that support it. I even tried doing an exhaustion build but just ended up milling myself. I was getting ready to give up on ever beating rogue.

Finally I got a run where I got the deathrattle passive and one set of jade cards. After that I was relying on luck. I used Gang-up on my Aya Blackpaw several times, which was amazing. I even had one game where I ran out of cards and ended up double Gang-up on Aya (Thanks DK Rogue!) into an endless board of Jade's. Good luck, 3 Jade cards turn out endless jades and I finally had my victory.

It's a relief to be done with Rogue and having completed all the dungeon runs. I've been having a lot of fun with the new game mode but, Rogue, never again.
