Sugar and Heat Throughout The Years

The idea proposed thousands of years ago that entails taking sugar and applying fire or heat to it, in order to change the flavour and appearance of the sugar, is magnificent. The reason being is very simple; it was the basis of change that has allowed the development of amazing candies! Some such examples include of course, Cotton candy, nougat and various other amazing sweets. One of my personal favorite sweet is of course COTTON CANDY!

It is such a simple idea, apply heat to sugar, that has enabled a great deal of complex candies and goodies that we otherwise never would have encountered. Then you of course have carmel, which is a viscous gooey amazing output that borders on complete perfection.

What I mean to say is that the simplest change to sugar, has allowed for thousands of years, a complex network of sweets. mmmm.
