Im starting this from scratch and making it about wellbing in general. Please note I am no medical professional! Just a woman on a mission to be healthy.
Yes I know acid reflux is not the best topic on a Monday Afternoon BUT plenty of people suffer from this ailment and I am one of them and in my bid to get healthy and will share my wisdom on this subject with you.
My symptoms
- Throat feels like it is tightening up
- Cramp under ribs
- Feeling like I have smoked 40 parkdrive consecutively
- Loss of breath
- Pain right at bottom of ribs
- Burning in stomach
- Burning/dry throat
There are a lot more symptoms but these are mine.
This helps me:
- Apple cider vineger (gross but effective)
- Slim fast milkshakes and milk in general
- Actimel probiotic drink
- Water
I have now packed up smoking (about 5 months ago) and I am almost tea total as it is seriously not worth the hastle of the dreaded reflux.
I avoid also:
- Spices
- Wine
- Coffee
- Chocolate (that's brutal)
- Mint ( Even toothpaste can set me off)
