Creating a heatmap is pretty straightforward, just go to Analyze>Heatmap in the left-hand side menu bar and click on the “Create new heatmap” button on the top right corner.
Now follow the on-screen prompts and fill in the required details.

After you create your heatmap for a page and give it some time to fetch your data, you can access it from Analyze>Heatmap. After you click on any of the red play buttons, the corresponding heatmap will open up in a new tab.
You will see something like this.
Here are the important areas of the heat map –
• On the top-left corner, you will see a summary of the total number of clicks and sessions that are visualized on the heatmap.
• At the top center, you can find a dropdown by using which you can generate a heatmap for users from a particular device.
• At the top-right, you can see heat map tracking to see time-specific data.
• At the bottom left, you can find the “share” button that enables you to share the report with your team members.
